United House
A major transformation expanding and reimagining United House for Frogmore.
At United House on Notting Hill Gate, we transformed an understated 1950s building into a significantly enlarged, contemporary office destination through a comprehensive refurbishment and vertical extension. Delivered as part of Frogmore’s wider estate regeneration, the project tripled the available floor area and repositioned the building for modern occupiers. The scheme introduced upgraded services, improved circulation, refined material finishes and enhanced amenities throughout, creating flexible, high‑quality workspace that meets current sustainability and performance standards.

Vertical expansion, façade renewal and modern workspace delivery.
The scheme introduced four new steel and CLT storeys to United House and an additional storey to the adjoining pavilions, while keeping ground and first floor retail units operational. A new façade combining terracotta cladding, curtain walling and stone was installed on a secondary steel frame, giving the building a renewed architectural identity. Internally, new mechanical and electrical systems, plant enclosures, lifts and DDA access were introduced, alongside green roofs and landscaped terraces. To the rear, Bulmer Place was resurfaced and enhanced with new servicing, cycle facilities and planting. Now occupied by The Office Group, United House provides high-quality flexible workspace within a revitalised Notting Hill Gate estate.
