Star Wars
Delivering a new exhibition environment at Madame Tussauds London.
We delivered alterations to two existing office floors within York Court, adjoining the main Madame Tussauds building, to create a new double‑height exhibition space for the Star Wars experience. The project required significant structural intervention to transform the existing layout while carefully integrating with the live attraction. Delivered within a complex, operational setting, the scheme expands Madame Tussauds’ exhibition offering while enhancing visitor flow and spatial experience across the wider building.

Undertaking complex structural works within a live attraction.
Works included the removal of existing concrete floors to form a new double‑height volume and the installation of a cantilevered steel link bridge connecting the new exhibition with existing gallery spaces. An existing glass barrel roof above the live Café Nero was removed and infilled with a lightweight steel structure to create additional floor area. Delivered within a building open seven days a week, the project required close coordination, sensitive neighbour management and careful handling of unforeseen structural conditions.
