252 The Square
A full Cat B fit out creating a dynamic European headquarters in Milton Keynes.
We transformed 252 The Square for WD‑40 Company, delivering a cohesive, wellbeing‑focused workplace that reflects the culture and personality of one of the world’s most recognisable brands. Spanning three floors, the refurbishment reimagines the existing building as a collaborative, design‑led environment that balances a subtle industrial character with warm, high‑quality finishes. Upgraded services, enhanced acoustic performance and a variety of work settings support focus, teamwork and social connection. The result is a flexible, people‑centred headquarters that promotes innovation, comfort and everyday productivity for WD‑40’s teams.

Reconfiguring the building around a light-filled atrium to encourage movement and collaboration.
A glazed roof now encloses the central void, introducing daylight and creating a new heart to the workspace, anchored by a striking helical steel staircase linking all three floors. The Cat B fit out delivers a wide range of settings, from open-plan desks and meeting rooms to lounges, booths and breakout areas, alongside a staff canteen, gym, showers and specialist R&D and studio spaces. Height-adjustable workstations and varied environments give employees choice and flexibility, placing wellbeing at the centre of the design.
