Oliver's Yard
Delivering a renewed workspace on behalf of Derwent London.
We have transformed Oliver’s Yard through a comprehensive upgrade of the courtyard, reception, basement and key office floors, redefining the arrival and amenity experience for tenants. The scheme combines modern Cat A workspace with a fully reimagined reception featuring timber flooring, brass-detailed joinery and specialist Italian sliding screen doors that create a refined first impression. A refreshed Level 4 office and terrace bring light and openness to the upper floors, while new end-of-trip facilities and a redesigned basement enhance everyday functionality. Carefully integrated planting and contemporary lighting complete a cohesive, welcoming workplace environment.

Courtyard landscaping and enhanced amenities
The project introduces a renewed courtyard with updated landscaping, planting, paving and lighting, creating a calm green space at the building’s centre. Inside, the reception is fully redesigned with refined materials, bespoke joinery and improved circulation to set a high-quality and welcoming tone. Level 4 features a Cat A fit out and revitalised terrace, offering flexible, light-filled workspace supported by upgraded services, new finishes and refreshed flooring throughout. Enhanced amenities, including showers, changing areas and basement improvements, further elevate the overall tenant experience and create a modern, significantly future-ready environment.

"The Oliver’s Yard fit out has transformed the building, delivering premium workspace within our Old Street village. Given the significant challenges of working within an occupied building and the need to protect critical services, it was essential to partner with a contractor who could provide both technical expertise and strong coordination. Collins demonstrated that capability, offering smart, pragmatic solutions while never losing sight of the design intent and quality. The result is a high-quality office environment that provides tenants with a flexible and contemporary workspace."
John Burton, Project Manager at Derwent London
