Museum Building

A refurbishment delivering enhanced office space at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.

We transformed the Museum Building into a modern, efficient workplace for AELTC staff, expanding and upgrading the Club’s main office facilities within one of the most prestigious sporting estates in the world. Delivered immediately following the 2018 Championships and carefully phased between tournament cycles, the scheme introduced a new additional storey and contemporary architectural detailing to increase capacity and enhance performance.

The result is a future-ready environment that supports the continued success of The Championships, Wimbledon, while integrating seamlessly with the character and operational demands of the historic grounds.

Extending and enhancing operational space at the heart of Wimbledon.

The project added a full new storey at roof level alongside a comprehensive refurbishment of the existing first floor, creating much-needed office capacity. Upgraded building services, improved circulation routes and refreshed interior finishes support the day-to-day operations of AELTC staff.

Externally, bespoke solid aluminium fins wrap the building’s perimeter, complementing the architectural language of the wider estate and giving the facility a distinctive, contemporary identity.
