    Principal Design Manager

    As Principal Design Manager, Karen will ensure the Design Management offer is consistent across the business whilst being flexible in its approach to support the client, project size and scope. With both architectural and engineering professionals making up the Design Management team, Karen's role is to co-ordinate the two disciplines and use her knowledge of the design process to ensure the team works as one to deliver a holistic structural and architectural programme from cradle to grave.

    Dick Humphreys

    Project Director

    Dick has worked in the industry for 11 years and joined Collins in 2012 as a Trainee Manager. During his time at Collins, he has worked on a variety of projects from high end Cat B fit outs to heavy structural refurbishments, using his skills and experience to ensure a proactive, solutions based approach for a smooth and enjoyable project journey for all involved.

    Dick works collaboratively and transparently with his clients to ensure the project programme is managed effectively and delivered to the highest of standards. He has a hands on and honest approach with regular, short-term position programmes to make sure the whole team is aligned to deliver the client’s end goal.

    Divisional Director

    Ryan is a dedicated and proficient Divisional Director with over 10 years’ experience within the industry.

    He has extensive commercial knowledge, particularly within the fit out sector, to ensure best value for money is achieved for any given client.

    Ryan has a dynamic, hands on approach which sets him apart from the competition. He is a strong believer in collaborative working, from supply chain to end user, allowing for a quality end product.

    Richard Harrison

    Project Director

    Richard has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry, predominately within the fit out and refurbishment sectors. Commencing his career as an electrical tradesman and joining Collins in 2014, he has developed his knowledge, skills and expertise across the construction disciplines to progress to the Project Director position he holds today.

    He is skilled in the management of pre-construction and construction delivery, specialising in extensive design and build refurbishment contracts due to his experience in delivering technically challenging projects.

    Richard is a highly motivated individual committed to ensuring each project is delivered to the highest standards and in line with the client needs.

    Ashraf Ali

    Compliance Director

    Ashraf leads our integrated approach to Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Environmental and ESG, and regulatory governance. He provides strategic oversight to ensure alignment with UK legislation, industry standards, and Collins’ own high-performance benchmarks, protecting both delivery and reputation.

    Ashraf also oversees the deployment of our technology and innovation frameworks, driving the adoption of digital systems, data-led tools, and AI to improve efficiency, risk management, and project outcomes across the business.

    With over 20 years’ experience in construction and corporate real estate, he brings a practical, process-driven approach to embedding standards, enhancing visibility of risk, and enabling consistent, compliant delivery.

    Duncan Redman

    Divisional Director

    Duncan joined Collins in 2001 and has been a part of, and contributed to, the growth, development and success of the company. Having worked in the industry for over 30 years, Duncan has a wealth of experience and knowledge across a range of project types, from Cat B fit out to cut and carve refurbishment.

    Duncan leads a committed, hardworking team who go the extra mile at every level to deliver a successful project. He believes in a hands on approach and management style, and leads his teams by example. He builds strong, honest relationships with clients which as a result, has consistently led to repeat business.

    Crawford Dunn

    Project Director

    Crawford has been working in the construction industry since the age of 17 and he has over 40 years experience.

    He has worked in prestige buildings like the Dorchester, Harrods and Selfridges. His focus is to ensure that he provides best value by understanding the client’s objectives and using his experience and knowledge to achieve this.

    Crawford thrives on building excellent relationships by being open and transparent throughout the entire process, with a strong focus on quality, passion to understand the vision behind the design, and always completing to a very high-quality finish.

    Christian Pakes

    Divisional Director

    With over 26 years’ experience in the construction industry Christian has joined Collins to bring additional leadership, consultant process and his design experience in the Cat A & B fit out market to the pre-construction team.

    As pre-construction & design director, Christian co-ordinates all aspects of the design development and tendering while ensuring the expectations of the consultants are met. This will include challenging elements of the design to suit buildability factors, programme, budget, and providing a workable solution.

    With previous roles providing support to clients through leading a respected MEP consultancy, and having built strong relationships throughout the industry as a trusted advisor, Christian brings this experience and knowledge to Collins to further enhance the client team experience throughout the pre-construction phases.

    Dan Hearn

    Divisional Director

    Appointed as Divisional Director in 2026, Dan joins us from Mace and brings more than 25 years’ experience delivering workplace projects across London, covering base build, refurbishment and fit out.

    This breadth of expertise aligns closely with our approach to delivery, from structural adaptations through to the detail and quality required at final finish.

    As clients increasingly look to us to enhance their assets from the inside out – creating environments that are design-led, high quality and built to perform – Dan’s expertise further strengthens our Senior Leadership Team and reinforces what we offer across the lifecycle of a building.

    Geoff joined Collins as a Project Director in November 2023, bringing with him 24 years of experience in the construction industry. His career spans a variety of sectors, including new build, healthcare, education, commercial, rail, infrastructure, and logistics.

    Geoff has a proven track record of leading both large and small teams and overcoming challenges to deliver projects that exceed client expectations. His dedication to excellence and collaborative approach makes him an invaluable asset to the Collins team.

    He started his career as a carpenter, navigating various operational roles. As a Project Director, he leverages his expertise to address challenges and find innovative solutions that benefit all stakeholders involved in projects.

    As a Project Director at Collins, Mark has played a key role in delivering standout projects such as 63-66 Coleman Street, 24 Endell Street, and Mode London. His expertise, commitment to excellence, and deep understanding of client needs make him a trusted leader within the Collins team.

    Jon Clayden

    Project Director

    Jon's career in the construction industry spans over 30 years, starting out in carpentry in the early 90's he soon gained a passion for all aspects of construction and progressed into construction management gaining his honours degree and chartered membership along the way.

    He has delivered a diverse range of projects during this time from Commercial office fit outs, through to universities, residential projects, hospitals and was even responsible for the construction of the Up at the O2 roofwalk over the O2 arena. He has been a CIOB Construction Manager of the Year finalist twice and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Collins team.

    Jon is a highly motivated team member who ensures clear, concise and transparent communication amongst all his project teams and stakeholders alike. The 4 pillars of management of Health & Safety, Quality, Programme and cost are what drives Jon forward and form the cornerstones of his management style.

    Technical Services Director

    Neil joined Collins as a TSM in 2010 and has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, in particular the refurbishment and fit out market. Since joining Collins, Neil has established himself as a key member of the team and in that time has developed to Technical Services Director.

    As head of the Technical Services department Neil oversees a team of TSM’s, takes an active role in projects and has a personal interest in developing the next generation of Technical Services Managers.

    Neil brings an assured and practical approach to every project he is involved in based on his varied knowledge and experience of the industry.

    Daisy Cassidy

    Document Control Manager

    Daisy has worked in the construction industry for over 10 years and joined Collins in 2022.

    In her role as Document Control Manager, Daisy leads the document control team to ensure robust practices are established and applied consistently across the business, while remaining fully compliant with all relevant regulatory standards. She works closely with both document control and project teams, supporting the effective use of the EDMS system and ensuring teams have access to the right tools, guidance and training.

    Where project requirements differ, Daisy adapts document control processes to suit individual needs while maintaining a reliable and compliant approach, giving project teams confidence and peace of mind throughout delivery.
