The O2

Delivering a specialist broadcast studio at The O2.

We transformed the existing reception area at Fabric Matter, The O2, to create a new television studio for IMG. The project involved a full strip‑out and conversion of the space into a high‑performance broadcast environment designed to meet demanding acoustic and technical requirements. Delivered within a live venue, the scheme required close coordination to integrate specialist construction elements while achieving a high‑quality finish suitable for professional television production.

Creating acoustically controlled environments for live broadcast.

Key works included the installation of high sound‑reduction walls and doors, specialist acoustic panels and a seamless resin floor finish to allow smooth camera movement. Back‑of‑house facilities were also delivered, including sound, lighting and production rooms, green room spaces and dressing rooms. New mechanical, electrical and data installations support the studio throughout, alongside a dedicated communications room housing new servers, ensuring reliable performance and operational flexibility for live and recorded broadcasts.
