
Strengthening Leadership Across Collins
Over the past 12 months, Collins Construction has delivered a leadership development initiative for Project Directors, Divisional Commercial Directors and Commercial Managers, focused on strengthening leadership capability across the business.
Delivered through The Work of Leaders, this initiative supported leaders in driving team alignment, improving communication and influencing project outcomes. Structured workshops and applied learning sessions gave participants the opportunity to explore leadership styles and behaviours, and understand the impact these have on performance on site and across project teams.
This work required a significant commitment from everyone involved. Participants balanced live project responsibilities while progressing to the next stage of their professional development. A strong emphasis was placed on practical application, encouraging leaders to reflect, adapt and embed learning into their day‑to‑day roles.
