The project comprised of the strip out of the existing reception area and conversion of the space into a new television studio for IMG. The key to the construction was the high sound reduction rating for the walls and doors, specialist acoustic panels and doors and a high spec finish to the resin floor allowing TV cameras to move smoothly.
Back of house facilities including sound, lighting and production rooms, as well as green room facilities and dressing rooms were created. New mechanical, electrical and data installations were provided to each area with a comms room being created for the new servers to run the studio.
