The reconfiguration of the ground floor of Orion House was the first phase of a complete re-launch of the entire building. The area was to be remodelled to create a new reception area with frameless glass walling and revolving door, a new retail space, Cat A offices and WC’s.
Amongst the challenges were the need to maintain the operational reception 24 hours a day and limit noise and disturbance.
As extensive structural works were involved, it was our careful phasing and management of the processes that meant the reception was always open.
The result is a truly stunning reception area and ground floor that will see Orion House handsomely into the next significant phase of its colourful life.
