Our client appointed Collins to undertake the external renovation to 3 internal courtyards and provide a new commuter area within the basement car park of Devonshire Sq.The basement commuter centre was created to provide a new changing area consisting of benching and lockers, new showers and toilets, bicycle repair areas, and a drying room. New stackable bicycle storage was installed, along with signage from the basement ramp entrance.
The three courtyards were stripped back and new brickwork planters installed to provide planting and up lighting. The flooring was a mixture of stone paving, timber decking and artificial grass. Bespoke floating metal and hardwood benching was installed to the perimeter to provide more seating for occupants of Devonshire Square.
