A traditionally procured project involving the complete internal Cat B fit out of a Grade II listed chapel to form a modern workspace over three floors for a well know publishing company. The building was heavily modified in a previous phase with concrete floors installed to aid loadings.
It was the client brief to enhance this warehouse type feel with exposed services, soffits and feature trusses to the roof. Due to its age and listing, the building created challenges with regards service routing and architectural detailing. To allow light to be bought through the building, the internal floors were opened up with an atrium surrounded with glass and steel cladding along with a linking bridge.
