The final phase of our extensive expansion of New Victoria Hospital is moving ahead well and on track for completion Spring 2019, when a new Outpatient Department and Reception with 12 Consulting Rooms and a new Physiotherapy department will be opened.
As part of the Considerate Constructors Scheme Collins recently invited children from Coombe Hill Junior School to improve the hoardings around our site with some colourful pictures. The pupils were asked to draw pictures based on three topics; Construction, Environment and Hospitals.
The children all really engaged in the project and this week they came along to site to see all of their colourful work on show. Collins further enhanced the display with planted flower boxes and bird boxes.
When speaking to members of staff at the school it became apparent their maintenance team had difficulty safely changing their high-level lights, so the Collins team at New Victoria Hospital also donated a new folding aluminium scaffold tower to help with this.
The team has invited the children to come back once the work is complete.
