Collins were tasked with the refurbishment of this modern 1980's 4 storey office building in the heart of Epsom, Surrey. All floors were stripped back and reinstated to high quality Cat A and the client brief also included a new reception area. A structural infill to 3 levels of the atrium took place, including the removal of a concrete lift shaft. Repairs to the barrel vault roof light were carried out and a full overlay of the flat roof area.
The works also included a full M&E strip out and install with the refurbishment of the existing goods lift into a passenger lift. Working on an estate with 4 occupied buildings, including a residential home for the elderly meant noisy works periods were carefully managed during the heavy structural demolition.
