After almost 18 months on site we are delighted to have handed over our £19million project at 61 Southwark Street on behalf of HB Reavis. The complex structural refurbishment of an early 1960’s building included an extension to the Southwark St and Great Guilford St elevations to form a new street level reception and a 2 storey extension to Keppel Row to form additional office space. Internally we carried out a Cat A refurbishment of 98,000sqft over 9 floors. Externally, new terraces to 3 levels were created as well as a complete re-cladding to the upper floors of the buildings tired exterior.
The building now provides a contemporary office environment within walking distance of London Bridge. The entire space, now known as Cooper & Southwark, has been pre-let to international commercial real estate advisor CBRE’s Global Workspace Solutions division.
